A Poem by Kristen
"

Just trying to find my place.

"

Horrific sunlight staining my sight,

All I can see is happiness.

How can these traitors treat my plight

As if it is something that can be ignored?

Turning and looking, looking and turning,

I desperately search for empathy.

Nowhere to be seen, nowhere to be found,

I am tired of such yearning.

Finally I retreat down the stairs,

And smell the stench of suffering.

For once I know I am in the right place;

I see the portal to Hell unlock.

This was a great write. I don't believe in Hell though. I do like this poem though. And it does meet my expectations because it was well written. Thanks for sharing. :)
