Is it so bad to feel alone?

Piercing silence enveloping me,

Feeling so alone.

Nobody to turn to,

Nothing to care about,

My true essence has already shown.

 

Darkness is my only friend,

He extinguishes all the pain.

Floating me

In a world of nothing,

I let go of feeling insane.

 

Happiness has ruined me,

Has made separation harder.

Fake promises

Filled with airy dreams,

Have only pushed me farther.

 

Isolated,

What a world it is,

To feel like you’re never home.

The world is worthless,

You are nothing,

You can only feel alone.

I loved this! The flow and rhyme were good. There is nothing wrong with feeling or being alone, everyone has these feelings and if they don't well I just think that they're not normal. It is sad sometimes though, especially when you want someone there and have no one to turn to. The second and third stanzas are my favorite part. I'm sorry if you're going through these feelings at the moment, but things will get better just keep you head up and keep writing because writing can be your best friend in you darkness hour of need.

It is true that sometimes there is no one you can turn to for help, and the world is a lonely place sometimes. I think everyone feels like this at one time or another, but hey! you can only go down so far before you come up again. ;D I know.
