The Fairytale Family

A story about life and love.

Once upon a time, not too long ago.

There was a grumpy old Bear who lived alone.

Deep in a forest, where nobody cared. Then one day,

he passes a certain way, when he saw a wondering bunny.

That he never saw before?  For reasons he could not comprehend,

even till this day? She just happened to pass the same way.

In an instant the future was set, a life imagined with someone who cared.

The Bear smiled for he was grumpy no more and on that day a fairytale was born.

 

Time past and they learned about love and dreams.

They saw hope come to live, and they called her; Princess of the castle of dreams.

For there they lived together, deep in a forest, where nobody cared.

Princess grew and was blessed with beauty and grace.

The Bear and the Bunny longed, for a king for their dream castle.

Times were hard, and there was very little carrots or honey.

They waited and hoped, while time, kept running faster than the melting snow.

Then as all hope seemed lost and the castle was growing cold.

The Bear and the Bunny received a little miracle.

A gift from above sculpted by love. The King of the dream castle.

The forest was angry about the gift, and it sent it’s howling winds and driving snow.

For it didn’t want to see the Little King grow. For days and months,

it raged against the dream castle, with all its might and all its fury.

 
 

The Bear, the Bunny and Princess held fast to the Little King,

no matter the howling wind, no matter the driving snow,

there was nothing, that would make them, let go.

Finally, the forest relented, as it saw that in a place where nobody cared.

Love found root and grew to be the biggest. The strongest tree.

Not even time could break its branches.

So, it was in the end, the Bear, the Bunny, Princess and the Little King.

Lived life in their dream castle, deep in a forest where nobody cared.

Caring for one another under the shelter, of the biggest and strongest tree.
