Afraid to run and afraid to walk.

Afraid to stare, directly at the sun.

Manage the risk, manage it well.

Keep hidden so no one can tell.

 

Risk exists everywhere, in everything.

Danger and warning, constantly fleeing.

Don’t touch and don’t dare to feel.

Never let your heart be revealed.

 

No one can see, no one understands.

Manage myself, strategic avoidance plan.

Control and limit, contact and society.

Do it well, and earn a master degree.

 

Manage the risk, to live and to love.

Manage the time, before it runs out.

Manage to be a silent spectator, watcher.

See live from afar, bright like a flickering star.

Manage pain and manage regret.

Manage the risk, that’s all you get.

Live is all about taking chances taking risk. If nothing is ventured nothing is gained.

A very well penned write, with a powerful message. So oftentimes we go through life with walls up, and really do not live our lives the way it was intended. You said it best, "nothing ventured nothing gained."

I really like this and I would love your permission to re-blog it I will send you a message to the link I am going to post it at. I know someone very dear to me that dos these things and it breaks my heart. I am hoping that when reading this they will see just how lonely and silly it is to never let people in. I am not really one to talk since most of my interactions are online but this person I speak of knows they are loved cared for and still they want to just keep walls up.
