All about love.A Poem by Patrick O'NeilEvery man needs a woman. Every woman, needs a man. We are made to love and be loved. It’s all about love. We live and die for love. We love so much, and care so little. We speak of it, but we don't really know it. Human love, it’s so fragile and brittle. Love to eat, love to drink. Love to party and love to think. We love the world, we love to kill. Love thy neighbour and his wife. Always and forever, all for love. Sadly it’s just a copy, nothing but a fake. No warranty and easy to manipulate. Blows in on a cool summer breeze, gone like morning mist before the sun. Yet this love is all we have. All we are, and ever dream to be. It inspires all the worlds’ great creations, ultimately leads, to self annihilation. We believe, we trust that we are right, only to stumble, blinded by loves bright light. In the end, a man is only remembered; Not for great constructs, conquest or creations, Not for destruction, horror and abominations. Only as a man that had a heart of tainted love. Only by a heart that loved him, regardless. © 2013 Patrick O'NeilAuthor's Note
