MirrorA Poem by Patrick O'Neil"He is old and frail, he should be, put out to pasture " I've heard them say...
Many years have passed, waiting and seeking, that perfect moment. When all life’s success and failures converge into brilliant bright singularity. Epiphany!
To know, that you know. Not one ounces of doubt. You matter, you have meaning. Your life, touches hearts and shapes minds. You are loved. Remembered! You are perfectly, Who, you are meant to be.
"He is too old, too frail, he must, be put out to pasture " I still, hear them say...
Has this epiphany an age? Is it not a mirror, left on the road? Flashing, to a new generation. Each one picks it up, dust it off, and stares hypnotized, for years, at their beauty reflected. As rot and decay of mortality, becomes an unbearable sight, the mirror is discarded. Forgotten.
The mirror begging us to see? Beyond!, into a visible, hidden place. Where time and age, is just a rumor, a myth? Asking? "Look!" at the background. There where every soul, is perfectly, made to matter. © 2013 Patrick O'NeilAuthor's Note
