Tearful Farewells

Tearful Farewells

A Poem by Psykolabe

I’m leaving you,

I’m so sorry,

I never thought I’d have to say goodbye like this.

I’ve had so many adventures with you,

Shared something truly special,

That only we two can ever understand.

I’ve spent long, sleepless nights inside you

And you’ve been so understanding,

For so long.

And I’m still sorry,

And I still never want to leave you,

But I’ll always love you,

And we both know that.

Goodbye,

House,

I’ll be missing you.

Hehehe. "I’ve spent long, sleepless nights inside you"
That was just a dirty trick. I was almost jealous of this chick until I read the last stanza. Lol. Well done. It was clever enough to get me going for a bit.

This is a really good poem, as someone who has had to move countless times, I know how it feels the night before you leave, and you already feel as though it's not your home anymore. A good poem.
