Chapter 7A Chapter by SythleChapter 7 “A wolf can
go days without eat, it hunts to find food every day to keep itself stocked up
but when pray is scarce, it last for days without it along with the pack but
they can turn to cannibalism and eat one of the omegas” “Jake! JAKE!!” I looked at the clock, I should’ve been awake half an hour
ago, I dragged myself out of bed again, Wednesday. Perfect. My worst day of the
week, and I has PE to. Great. After I managed to open my eyes properly I got
into my uniform, then got into my uniform with my shirt on the right way round
and stumbled out the front door. I’d have to run if I wanted to get to school
on time. I started a slow jog, and realised soon that I could keep going,
normally I would be out of breathe straight away. I felt like I was Peter
Parker of spider man when he wakes up to muscles, except for me it was
happening gradually, I couldn’t see any physical changes or anything else, but
I could run allot longer for allot faster. I knew even if I sprinted to school
I wouldn’t get there on time. I had to take a short cut; the only problem was
there was only one short cut. The forest. Luckily it wasn’t through the centre, the forest went on for
miles and miles across nearly five towns, it was the largest forest in my area,
well, it spread across a few areas so the biggest in them to, and a few others.
It was through the side. I decided to go for it. I started running faster,
heading for the start of the trees, they were thin at first, and then they got
thicker, and thicker, and thicker. I could see less and less. I thought about
slowing down but I kept pushing, I had to learn to trust my instinct. I ran
full pelt through the forest dodging round trees and over branches, not slowing
down, just running. I didn’t see any wolves, at the time I was glad, I wouldn’t
know what to do if I did. I kept running and running until I saw the trees
begin to thin and I know I would be at the school. The school was on the edge of the forest, I could see it in
the distance through the tree’s, I pushed on until I broke out of the dense
forest and out onto the road. A few people stopped and stared at me, no one had
been in the forest for months, maybe even years, and even then no one came out
without being injured, let alone running full pelt without stopping and not
being hurt. I just walked through the gates like nothing happened. “Hey man why you late?” It was Eth © 2012 Sythle |
