サワーA Poem by Simon WelshNo more hearts cut from jagged thoughts
I'll rise and live among the stars
cause my life is draped in the light of a pale paper moon No more hearts cut from jagged thoughts My own is weathered from the stress of being ordinary I don't like the ghosts of yesterday they remind me just what I've left behind I know I can be sour; a bitter soul I don't drink because I'm afraid that I'll lose the sweetness you see in me But then I am not sure if I can believe you what if you just want to protect youself I wrote a thousand words of bad poetry just to make sense of what I'm about to throw away © 2016 Simon WelshFeatured Review
