Aozora

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

My scars never left

"
Do you love me? If you love me
we'll cut a piece of each other
in the shape of a heart
Don't be frightened
we're all the same lying against
the blue flat anvil of the sky
let the judgment hit us
Words are only bruises
but they count as company
Cuts count as company
My scars never left
they remained longer than anyone
If you love me, your body will be
a mirror to mine
Our last breaths will be vapour
kisses in the clouds
Do you love me?
Do you love me?
Then hurt me
like I've hurt you

Wow, I really like this one. It feels like it has a lot of dark undertones. Good job.
