Manual AutolesionesA Poem by Simon WelshI don't belong around other people
Little ruby pools
My happiness is whatever becomes boring I don't belong around other people I just drown in their voices Their collective stare scars me I am sick of myself Weak, stupid and pathetic Not beautiful or an ideal Never good enough but I frame these little ruby pools Let me wash away the ache Embrace; like broken glass What doesn't faze other people holds me back with little effort Press down on my wounds I was too cowardly to let bleed little ruby pools They could have saved me © 2015 Simon WelshReviews
