Untitled Poem

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

Rest in Peace, you wonderful man.

"
The sound of laughter softly fades away
and now, there is nothing but the wind
No one knows where you went
but we only realised when you were gone

I want to watch that old movie once more
maybe this time it'll play on past the credits
and we'll see you once more

Now we have to say goodbye
but there's nothing but an empty room
where you bade us farewell

The sound of laughter softly fades away
even in the sunlight I feel so cold
No one knows where you went
but we hope you found what you were looking for
