Ocean of Tears

I feel just like a petal left wandering through the breeze
I have nowhere to go and nowhere to remain
Load up on sentimental dreams to hide the pain
I won't cry if I can pretend I am someone else, somewhere different

So I wondered will I ever fall in love again
and will I find what's missing in my life?
Every attempt of finding peace
just leaves a conflict within me
A single raindrop won't be noticed
in an ocean of tears

It doesn't help that always rains all the f*****g time
Will this bottle send me to a numb state of mind?
Maybe so, but my feelings will follow me there

Nice poetry. You portray strong feelings through this piece. The only place that stopped the flow (slightly) was this line: "It doesn't help that always rains all the f*****g time". The emotions are strong enough not to have to use strong language. Not that it can't be used, it just doesn't seem to fit here. The other images are soft and deep (petal wandering through the breeze, bluejay with no sky to climb). This sentence sounds like someone else interjected a thought.
