Commelina communisA Poem by Simon WelshRosewater falls upon this lush Heaven revealing pathways only seen in dreams
Lily of the valley strides so swiftly
An ink blot on a dense, pale landscape Sweep me away in waves of slumber as the blinking birds shed the clouds I'm sure there's a perfect rainbow somewhere Apples shine red in the vast playing fields I don't belong to anyone which is a blessing Rosewater falls upon this lush Heaven revealing pathways only seen in dreams Lift the weight upon my shoulders and I will rise Speak softly and let the breeze carry your words Poetry is the kindest words we share only for a few Sure, I allowed the romance of spiritual revival seduce me but it's the promise of happiness that allows me to find resolve © 2014 Simon WelshFeatured Review
