Einsamkeit

Einsamkeit

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

We are programmed to hate ourselves

"
I could been everything but I'm happier as nothing
I still occupy a a place in this shunted world
There's no love without fear, regret and hatred
with a hit of caffeine, our day can truly begin

We are programmed to hate ourselves
To find fault in everything
and everyone
It's a glorious feeling to be right
It's a glorious feeling to be right

Obliteration of the soul is a damaged concept
Who knows where the scars will bleed?
These buildings were made for dying people
They go to work day after day, life after life

We are programmed to hate ourselves
To find fault in everything
and everyone
It's a glorious feeling to be right
It's a glorious feeling to be right

It's technocratic progress
to be given freedom from originality
I love the written word
I don't need a tint to appreciate Nature

It's technocratic progress
Everything has stayed the same
and only the meaning changes
I don't need an opinion to be valued
