I need you if only for a little while
Maybe someday I'll learn how to open up
but until then, I'll remain by myself
Sometimes the best thing about someone
is right before you get to know them

I love the mystery, I love the illusion
before the idiosyncrasies are shown
and the imperfections reflect mine
I'll want you if you are better off without me
And the strange part is that everyone
has felt that way about another
