Garden of the GodsA Poem by Simon WelshAcid notes hang with trembling elegance
This land stretches far beyond the horizon
A land patterned in colours never seen before Twinkle with the harsh realm of beauty I made these roses of starlight for you Through the looking glass you saw a forest that gathers all the lost animals Stardust led me to you and liquid sunshine will provide a path Beyond cerulean, there's an emerald haven Your harmonica paints a future in music Acid notes hang with trembling elegance I'll give you all my flowers and beads just to allow at least one Canadian flower to grow To grow forever free in the Gardens of the Gods Through the looking glass you saw a forest that gathers all the lost animals Stardust led me to you and liquid sunshine will provide a path Beyond cerulean, there's an emerald haven Turn on to a peaceful state of mind and I'll tune into your wave Come crashing down upon me and we'll drop out Past the inverted flowers and pink leaves © 2014 Simon WelshReviews
