My Wrongs Are Right?

My Wrongs Are Right?

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

I can't ever vent without disappointing someone

"
It's a dead zone here but parking is free
Which is fine, I'll be stuck here anyway
I can't ever vent without disappointing someone
and I can't be offended because it goes against what you believe

There's no death scene, you just keep on as you are
It's strange to think the most relief I had recently
was when I pressed open scissors on my arm

I can't pretend because I keep getting drawn out
Colour me in something other than blue
When I am this way, the worst thing you can do is reach out
because I'll only drag you down and you'll hate me for it

I tried to tell you but you wouldn't listen
It's strange to think I've been so low recently
but it's what I have, it's who I am
and you have no right to take it away from me

Very strong and rings true even tampers with the heart strings because of the raw pain. I loved this because it tells of a journey through solitude with nothing and no one to help, therefore having gotten used to feeling alone perhaps you have succumbed to such loneliness.
I look forward to reading more of your work.

No way!... I would never...
Writing is cathartic, and you need this, we all need this....

Express your heart... It's the most beautiful thing to do... :)

It's sad, yet beautiful.
I can feel the emotion in each line, and i can relate.
Very beautiful write.

It's poetic in a sad way, makes one think, made me think - I can relate.

This is so beautiful, I love it. Beautiful and honest, with a hint of gloomy yet confident in your emotions. I can definitely relate to this and well.. you caught me. Very well written and flawless.

Dead for the wrong because nothing right would be free. Not having a voice is bullshit and I have been there. Pain to make one feel alive is a life story I have experienced, though I know it is wrong. You push when someone pulls away, and this means you need solitary time to reflect on what you have and what you don't. Sometimes that negative feeling, we own it. You can't let it go until you are ready. Sad but honest poem which again has raw honesty. Respect. It can still get better.

You gotta find your own way sometimes, that is true. A lot of emotion and meaning in this write.
