Well I've Been

Well I've Been

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

Expression.

"
Such moments fall like raindrops
ready to stain this dead land of carrion flowers
I wish you was still here with us
rather, you're a star, shining on the sky
But the hurt still remains
begging for a blade to gouge out the ache

I can't kill the voices in my head
they all sound the same to me
I want to feel the warm spike
of the tear that leads us to the other side
Such I feel my old friends embrace me
the same that enticed me to feel so f*****g terrible

Well I've been
something less
I'll soon shed this pain
and be stronger for it
hopefully

I've been through so much in my lifetime... I know it was from the strength that was within myself that got me through. I guess we are our own happily ever after, afterall.

Hang in there, Elliott!
