FreedomA Poem by Simon WelshCondemnation of all parties. Not because it's fashionable.
All the piggies gather round the trough
chewing on the bones of the young and innocent Add another carcass to the voting poll You can't change my beliefs because I don't earn enough not to care You have your freedom now let me have mine It's hard to be heard in the mess hall of parliament those who wear the red rose guffaw and laugh Stuffing their faces with blue ribbons and denial The opinions of few seem to outweigh the needs of many You have your freedom now let me have mine Gather around little children your future families will not heed my words The damage of Eton to the English dictionary means that truth, peace and common sense will soon lose their meaning... All the suits gather and I look from the animals to the men I could not tell the difference as their pork barrel's gave the illusion they truly cared © 2013 Simon WelshFeatured Review
