Looking to the future
And places I've never been I wish to God I could go back And do it all again Never understanding Exactly where or why Things went wrong, I should have gone And stopped my foolish pride Running around in circles Looking for a brand new start Trying to find some peace of mind To help me through the dark I'm moving on, the damage is done And I will find another place I'll start all over, down in Dover Where no one knows my face. When I left town to find myself I never told anyone why. Doug went crazy, Tracey looked around And James went along for the ride. I was running like an outlaw, unsure of myself Trying to find a place to hide. With my ex right behind me I didnt trust nobody She said I was wanted dead or alive. That all happened some time ago And now I've settled down With my dog Sable right beside me Everyone is happy in this quiet little town I still see the guys from time to time We're all doing the best that we can Down here in Dover, I started all over Now I'm a happy man!
