Can I find that in you?

Can I find that in you?

A Poem by Sarah McKeever Hitt

It is true

Unbridled and free

Held back and limited

Careless and careful

Forever written in pencil.

Hand extended and welcoming

A paradox in exacts and variables

Yet I depend on the notion

That this the perfection in flaws.

That is me

And when I am honest I am yours

U relenting in my indecision

Hoping as I am hopeless

Grasping at the clear air.

Inspired and finding everything

I need nothing yet searching

To find the light and the dark.

Can I find that in you?
