Hit the ground running.

Hit the ground running.

A Poem by Sarah McKeever Hitt

Some of my better days

hit the ground running

and bring me straight to you.

How could they not?

You are everything to me

The moment that the day breaks

I think of the little things

like your pinky swears to forever be mine

and the ice cream cones at midnight.

How could I be so lucky?

I have never heard of love like ours before.
