Kiwi love.

Kiwi love.

A Poem by Sarah McKeever Hitt

My percentages were raised by the sensation of how right you were for me

The graceful way that you tell me what I want you to

And how you mean just what you say

At the moments when it most matters

Makes me confident that you are the perfect person for me.

When we walk down the streets after the streetlights come on

The people can’t help but stop what they are doing to watch us

Because it is not everyday that they see true love

The old me would cower and walk with her head down

But with you I want the heaven and angels to see

I am here with you.

I love you more than I thought was my able

You bring more to the world than all the sages and shamans

The sun, the moon and everything that goes with it

Must have been so proud

Because ours is the story of the century.
