God to Earth

God to Earth

A Poem by Sarah McKeever Hitt

I hold my breath

feet leave the ledge

wind on my skin,

taking me back to ground.

Falling freely

I find you,

you me.

treading on air staircases.

This moment,

all its splendor

was made for us.

From god to earth.
