trippin slumberA Poem by Sarah McKeever Hitt
as the sky melts to nothing but wax
and the silence of night sneaks up the wind will sting your ears lightly as your eyes start to close the light fades quickly and colors move like waves slow the distant thoughts of today leaving as you fall into a dream. peaceful at last in surrender holding on no more to the mundane god speaks if only a fleeting sigh as you dance with ghosts of youth a beautiful place to visit as nighttime shows the passage way a haven for your inhibitions rests soundly in your mind The beauty of the easy road as a map to solace and peace lies closer than you had ever thought and life is but a dream. © 2008 Sarah McKeever HittReviews
