A Poem by Sarah McKeever Hitt

Destined for greatness .
Chosen by the unseen to change tides.
Fascination abound as I move,
treading ever so timidly forward.

My words take a cautious step,
inching toward answers like forbidden fruit
Wanting this wisdom denied by lip-service,
scared of outcomes long since determined.

Yet I press you for it,
making you say what you hide.
Forging through like I always do,
ever so vulnerable to your discretion.
