lightening and lions

lightening and lions

A Poem by Sarah McKeever Hitt

In the middle of bone crushing noise

with the force of lightening and lions

the breath of your yearning for me

reaches my cheek and I fall into a trance.

The spinning earth stills and the tornadoes calm

in a moment's fury your heart changes everything

and all is quiet in my mind

Thank you.
