I can't sleepA Poem by Rustling LeavesMy eyes are tired but I cannot sleep.
It's my fault that my eyes don't close
I keep drawing for my phone That light To entertain this buzzing mind Like a moth to a flame The tendency is written in my DNA I can't help myself Compulsive feelings have me tied to it My hand is melting into my phone As my eyes droop into the brightness Closing in on darkness I am tired Yet awake I stay Awake I stay Awake I stay Until I stay no more Yet tonight I can't sleep © 2024 Rustling LeavesAuthor's Note
