Rippled Sublime

Rippled Sublime

A Poem by Pryde Foltz

Rippled Sublime

iced sweetness

slices of pain

        cold fusion

welded, wielded

shards of titillation

sharpened to needles

cutting one’s teeth

vanilla to ripple

serrated pleasure

when the pain stops

no need to bear

the cracked spine

        of the thaw

the softness

of a permanent melt

no need

just surrender

to the crepuscular tide

there is only relenting

shedding

no body

scarred husks disintegrate

in the rippled sublime

You make living and longing the very warmest of friends, Pryde. Flowers offer the most incredible and beautiful of prompts, and of course, can return time and time again. Yes?

I will write my review after I take my Very Cold shower.
Wow, this just undulates with sexual tension until it bursts.

Thank you. Just my attempt of putting longing to words:)
Your poems ripple with romantic beauty, cascade with gentle flow and strike with eye openness.
You wield a mighty pen, my friend.

crepuscular!!!! my, my, my Ms. Pryde ;) had to look it up, of course ... what a fine word!! oh my goodness .. i had to read it twice .... slowly ... savoring the torturous titillations to panic ... i love the cold or nuclear fusions of science and the arts .. i think you have handled the cold in a brilliant way ... the room i am in right now is creaking and i think creatures are whispering about ... i have to go turn on all the lights ;)) love this my friend .. so glad i did not miss it.

ps. subtle sexual hints make me want to go play with ice cubes ..... just kidding of course .. nice poetry ma'am!

as you will my friend ... but no need ;) i do always appreciate your attention :))))))))))))
Ooh, I absolutely relish your style.
I wield my welded weapon forged from shards of sharpened needles, but even with the mightiest sword, I could not fend off the absolute titillation contrived from my imbibement of this poetry.
I tried to ice a cut once, not a sublime experience, mostly rippling feelings of rotting heat.
Well written...
