dear Pryde, I love the music of "Waltz of the Flowers".
We listened to the music in grade school in
Music Appreciation, along with many other classics.
I was fortunate that the private school had music as a
priority. Later in life I was introduced to the "Swan song"
In Opera. It is my prayer that we always enjoy the beautiful
Swans as they glide with their young along the river with their
downy feathers. I appreciate the humor your Senryu provides.

or to add to wordman review, may also tickle your nose, make you sneeze... but Pryde I am a bit confused you always seem so "peaceful" to me, a turn the cheek type being.. alas, my perceptions are wrong Ms Lotus Blossom has killed that damn swan!!! De-feathered it and now rests happily on her new pillow sound asleep... me thinks captcha finally made a mistake, the word is "puritanical" not purana, though it may be that you are confessing to be some kind of evil Hindu demigod??!! lol

it's early morning and I still drinking first coffee and hoping to catch you half asleep as well so I can tease you unmercifully. ;0) I have my protest sign ready: "Save The Spitting Swans!!!" okay okay, the sand box is safe now I will play nice... er... honest.. as you can see I have enjoyed your senryu and will end by saying swans also bite as well as spit.... so did you also cook that goose's arse??? lol.. ;0)

You did indeed catch me half asleep ... half way into my first coffee as well ... and when it comes to the table I am an equal opportunity foul girl ... but I lean to free range ... I want them to have tasted freedom first. lol ... seriously ... well not really ... the swans are so beautiful they can take a little ribbing:)
