I had two cats. Each shared their barf skills for me quite often but each had their own character traits that served them well. Whether jumping from behind the couch an accosting my leg or finding it comfortable to sleep on my stomach I remember them well. The playfulness and the mischief behavior made them both funny people with fur.

Cats are truly wonderful beings. Thank you, Grey:):):)
Came across a kitty last night but was right on in avoiding its new life. Your taste in entertainment offers visual tickles, wise laughter and a triumph In musical background.
a lovely write depicting the attitude of cats. i adore cats, british shorthairs are my fav's. the music was a great choice too. an entertaining fun read.

The thing about cats ... is they love crap of themselves ... in that way they are an inspiration:)
As a cat, I am deeply offended (sort of) actually, it's pretty darned cute, and funny. So in the meantime, I must share this. When I lived in your neck of the woods, I had an old declawed cat I adopted from a shelter. I used to tie her up outside while I read a book in my apartment building yard. The lady upstairs got mad because my cat caught birds while I sat and did nothing to stop her. My logic was simple. Survival of the fittest. I had a 6 pound, 13 year old declawed cat on an 8 foot lead. If a bird was stupid enough to taunt her, he deserved his fate.:)

But I imagine any cat of yours would be bad-a*s ... next time add a blindfold and really give here a challenge. Did you live in the West End ... your tale sounds familiar. I wonder if we crossed path ... you know I am actually (really) a huge fan of cats. Not my avatar but definitely a totem of sorts for me. Thanks for stopping in:):):)

I lived in New West, a long time ago -- moved back to Ontario in 99. That kitty lived to be 23.
When a series of events- a story- is presented in the form of poetry, its beauty is enhanced further. Take "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" for example, such poems engage the reader more and have some peculiar feelings in them which other poems usually don't have. This tale is simply amazing. What a smooth flow you have got and how you capture the mind of the listener. Perfect work. Keep writing.
