the world of love and romance needs the cynical syncopated slant on heart throbbings ... i think it gives the slain a winning chance to use the noodle and not the other parts first :) lots of great words ..enjoyed your poem .. and as always your voice

Thank you, E. Nah the noodle is no help ... it will either make you bitter or trick you into loving the wrong bloke again. The trick is to use the heart unconditionally and then the rhinos and cads depart and the angles of our better natures can land. its the unconditional thing that is the road block:) Happy Monday:)

ok! i do understand that ... but Ann Landers would disagree ... as she has said that if in the throes of fire we hold for patience and good judgement until the seas are more calm ... we can make a more deliberate, wise choice ... and i am not convinced she is wrong ;))

I do not think I am contradicting her ... patience and good judgement tend to go hand in hand with unconditional love. It instills both:) But our, dear Ann, did mix her metaphors some. The seas posts out all fires:)Tee Hee:)

Very creative and poetic choice of words. I find that many only seek love because they it outside of themselves. The Tao is everywhere; but many hope to find it in specific places.
