You have made me think about this elusive commodity that has become an obsession and almost a thing. You have said a lot with very few words, allowing the reader freedom to expand thoughts.

Thank you, B.
The best way to speak about an endless length is in your short sweet way! Less is a huge more here!

Thank you, Alfred:)
Time eludes us all.. keeps its promises, whispers its meanings.. but then moves on, leaving thoughts like yours, with endless supposition

Your work's extraordinary, whatever its form. Your reading's smooth as silk. .

Thank you, aacpuente.
No, the hands do not contain eternity, yet we hold eternity in our hands with each new life... Great tanka, Pryde.

That we do. Thank you, Rita:)
Well there would be so many ways to approach this but the one that I like the most goes on a theory by the name of Eternalism. Which alludes to the fact that past, present and future all happen at the same time greatly depicted in the movie by Stanley Kubric 2001. As it gets highly complicated and already I am bordering dangerously on nerdiness I brought this up because you used the comparision to eternity.

Thankyou

Two feet always in ... is what I say … unless it's jello over a crevasse
It is very poignant. It truly is relative. We perceive it as linear when it is more circular than anything really. It isn't just one point along the way, it is all points simultaneously. Wonderfully captured and expressed.

Time, one of the biggest mystery to mankind appears like one solved puzzle in your words. Always a pleasure listening to your spoken words.
