Pryde--truly amazing work. I usually shy from romantic poetry but this is powerful and fantastic. For myself, I'd call it realistic romantic. You describe the full power of this one romance and in the end understand its place in the full spectrum of a life. I'll probably need to share with some others important to me.

Reminds me some of another realistic romantic song--a Beatles favorite, In My Life.
A beautiful longing lifts here... a recollection of light... lingering shadows now in the letting go... I am learning to embrace both light and shadow now... a learning process...
