I can see that your soul wants to be touched , your tears to be wiped , your joy to be shared and not just mere words of grandiose love . You want honesty from him along with his appreciation of the inner you . I feel a little sadness in this great poem...:)

Music is need for this I must add though your delivery is awesome!!!!!!! I do enjoy listening to your poems though shorts but still they are fill with life and so much meaning. "Bare your flesh, scarred and ripped to the bone; slice through to your soul and leave me weeping, in pleasure and pain for more." Words that were sewn together beautifully... To me I think you were saying At last my love be not afraid of your brokenness for it is what makes you whole. It's is why I love you for you are not afraid to let me see inside your soul. A hero you are so strong but yet so weak and you take it out on me and I do enjoy... Lol, hope you don't mind but yeah I love the context of your poem.

Beautiful in its raw emotion. I can feel the strength of someone holding their ground and saying "hey, enough is enough, this is what I want from you."

Morbid nursery rhyme. Like that. Thank you, Quoting Ravens
I wish I knew but even if I did - I might not fully grasp it. This poem speaks to me of what poets do - rending the fleshy bits and pieces as we bleed on paper - soaking emotion into a dry medium - but it also has a note of I don't know - almost sarcasm as tho the writer speaks of an "actor" and not transparency. Its a wonderful write.

It's women like you that have given hungry looks to men in the past and - I daresay you frighten them. As for me I would want a woman to love me for my intellect before -ahhm- hitting below the belt, which I am understanding is a distinct penalty in any case. :7
