Don't want love to destroy me

Family's everything. Love is life. Two lines are stolen from Pink, for which I sincerely sincerely apologize (and shudder at).

 

The sun is shining
Wind rattling the trees
But it’s peaceful down here
Someway somehow

Please stop screaming
Everybody
Please stop destroying

We’re living in the circumstances
Fingerprints of the past
Lingering in our depths

I see the future
Will you haunt me too?

It’s so cold
Cold down to the bone
It’s getting lonely
So lonely down here

Hate to admit it
I want it real bad
I’ve been better
I’ve been near perfect

My messed up personality
Maybe your right
Twisted and dark
Causing this perfect tragedy

Can you really blame me
For everything that is wrong
Am I really that bad?
I’ve just learnt how to feel again

Living so close
But in reality I’m already all alone

It’s so cold
Cold down to the bone
I don’t want love to destroy me
Like it did my family

Falling down is our theme song
You’re scaring me, I’m scaring myself

The future tempts me
With hope and sunshine
Is it real or just a picture

Whichever
It has to be worth defending
It has to…
Family is everything,
Don’t every say I don’t know….
