written from a man's side.

How do I love you

take you to vast regimes

and proclaim my love

or cuddle you in my arms 

and let the warmth speak,

take you to Venice

and canoe in sparkling water

or invite a long met friend

and leave you to chatter,

order a snack for you

and pamper you

or try a hand at your favorite

and show my care,

throw a bash to celebrate your day

and treat you as a queen

or arrange for a visit to your ailing aunt

and fulfill your desire,

take you for shopping

and a candlelit dinner

or catch the longing desire in your eyes

and surprise you with that cherished saree,

holding you should i whisper

sweet nothings in your ear

or let my actions gently

proclaim my love to you

Tell me my dear

how do I love you.

All women wanted to be treated like what you have mentioned above. If I could be a man, I could also do the best that I can to make my woman happy.
But I know that it is just written in a man's point of view, and yet a woman's heart is wishing the same things to be felt by her. :)
This is an ideal poem for an unselfish love...considering things not for himself but to his loved one.
