Prayer to Me

was humming a lyric from a t.v. serial and the thoughts wandered away to me.... and my heart whispered.

My dream don’t need wings
Its feet are grounded
Doesn’t wish to conquer the skies
Heart of fellow beings is the desire

Life doesn’t need days and years
Moments in hand are enough
Doesn’t have big goals
Little smiles to achieve

Death doesn’t frighten me
Come now or anytime
No rites, no penance required
Wiping tears is prayer to me.
