Connie Irene And Bonnie JeanA Poem by EnchantmentTwins and their mischievous acts.
Connie Irene and Bonnie Jean are sisters, in that-
They are identical twins, in fact - They are great tale weavers. So much so, you became believers. Switching names Are one of their games. They think its amusing, But it's very confusing, When teasing family and friends. They said they could read each others mind. We thought it so divine. But it was a secrete scheme it seems. It was plotted ahead of time. All of us just wanted to scream. In class they did a switch-a-roo. But I knew one had a hair ribbon of blue. I just laughed at the mischievous act. So not to let on I knew. This went on well into their teens, About the age of sixteen. Where boys were now their schemes. They were too occupied with boys. Oh no, what joy! But would they, no, they wouldn't. And with surprise the didn't Oh how I agonized. I think they were afraid to be chastised. They became very, very wise. No Tom foolery with their guys. This was a long, long time ago. But this I know - I'm now old, And all the things I have told, Are identifiably so. Because you see, I'm Connie Irene, And my twin is Bonnie Jean. Author ~ Connie I
