The Perfect Woman

The Perfect Woman

A Poem by Prospero

You are to me the perfect woman

Seduced from rock since ages gone
Your laughing eyes like silk in the dark
Echoing the sparrows’ splendor in spring
While your smile drips pearly rows of grace.
I graze the mountain slopes moist from the dew
Of midnight trysts with your embrace
And like a cold glass in the heat of summer,
I am cloaked in the womb of your embrace.

My soul has never seen the light of day
Till I first laid eyes on you and behold
My heart is pierced with your radiance
And a thousand points of light cascade
From my breast in a thousand, thousand rays.
Your beauty so radiant the mighty sun
Turns the earth brown in blinding rage
And the dainty moon so filled with shame
Sheds pearly tears of crystal peace.

Whomever this lovely lady is, she's very lucky to have such a romantic piece written about her :) I love the imagery you portrayed here. You capture descriptive words in such a magical way. Beautiful work.

Good job!
The line, "The mighty sun turns the Earth brown in blinding rage"
Is my favorite line of the poem and was amazing!
Nice.
