My Friend Paul

There once was a nice guy named Paul

Who wanted to review one and all

But then he got a big shock

Some prick had pressed him the 'block' 

Paul had a big beer and said 'bugger-all'

You know Ditzy darlin', I have been blocked and I have blocked too. I have never been rude on here to anyone, but it still happens. I block for rudeness, but then usually cave in after a while and remove it again. I have to say this site is better than my previous one where most of my work was reported and deleted for being offensive. Some people don't like poetry about nature it seems :)) Love the cartoon, and hey a beer or a glass of wine seems like a good solution. Treats again my feline friend .....

Those people were probably their meds! I cannot imagine anyone blocking such a beautiful person or censoring her as beautiful poetry. You touch hearts Chris and you win friends for life. I love this so much! If you don't like me, then just don't read me, but don't chew me up & splatter your tobacco juice all over my page. I've missed seeing you at the cafe & hope you're coming around again soon. I'm afraid to read your limericks becuz they're contagious & now I want to write some. The first time I was blocked, it was a rude shock, but now it's become everyday friend-management! I've blocked several people who later on turned out to be some of my closest friends, once we cooled off, unblocked, & got our differences sorted! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

i've come a knockin'
and experienced a blockin'
it's happened a few times
and my reviews had no rhymes
but it's part of the plan
so I just had to make a new one, Stan

hell, I got kicked off one site...stuck up for some of the fledgling poets against the really mean
crits....and got blackballed for not being tough enough. But those who kicked me off, ran the site and had their own little clique...it was sad...and their work was not as good as they all thought it was.
this has good humor, but also such a ring of unfortunate truth.
