A Poem by Dhara_Ditzy Kat
"

Shape Poetry - A big fat sun

"

Bippety-Bop

Hippety Hippety Hop

He melted like a paddle pop

In the face of her bloated sun

Till all there was left of him was

A pee-stained puddle that run

Down down her wee knickers

When the clock struck one

Hippety Hippety Hop

Bippety-Bop

Very creative, Ditzy! I find shape poems a novelty except when the words within the shape can stand by themselves, and yours do here. It's a great big ball of fun, your poem, and you did a great job with your lines and form. It hits the funny bone just as you have intended. Well done!

hi Kat, my i invite you to view my mr. bump?
something in common ...
I love this poem ... I have two kitty Kats...
Elisa Clover Doolittle (a female) and Snowflake... a Siamese male.
each one spade or neutered. both were feral young kittens
that live on our Sunporch separated (from us humans) by glass panneled doors into our family room.
We live in a large two story home, and I cannot with my infirmities
let them have the run of the house with guests staying overnight.
They have large windows to watch the birds and squirrels.
I keep their room clean and them with fresh water and good food.
They have a big round Oak Table to sleep on or cuddle.
Both are neutered... but still affectionate.
Snowflake slipped out the Sunporch door and wandered the Circle of the neighborhood for five days and nights. I left a Cage on the deck of the Sunporch with food and a trap door. Since then he seems content to be reunited with "Clover". Such is life. gently, Pat

You are welcome.
This is very zany, which is a quality I admire becuz I do not possess it! I try to write outside the dots, but you seem to effortlessly write outside gravity. I love the playfulness & the made-up sound words. I love the irreverence of telling a love story that isn't all gooey & sweet. Great fun to read! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thanks for enjoying this poem Mr. Malarkey. You're so nice and kind.
I loved this, a melted popsicle displayed in a perfect drop. That was my take anyway. A genius bit of poetry, you captured youthfulness and playfulness in a very mature forum.

Waving at you Ditzy. What a clever and creative Kat you are. This is a perfectly rounded, sunny, funny poem. It brightened up my early morning visit. To my shame I have never tried shape poetry. You excel at it.

Shape poems now, Ditzy? What other tricks do you have under your fur? Lol. You are one multi-talented Kat! It's a very strong sun that can make someone melt like a puddle, and more so to run down the knickers! Such an icky, sticky mess! This is another clever little creation from your creative paw. Makes me wonder what you will produce for us next. Much enjoyed, Ms Kat! Love the shape. They are much harder to do than they appear and you mastered it, here!
