My Body Aches For your PresenceA Poem by ProphecyFor Karen.
My chest is soft in your presence as if I can finally breath in your gentle teaching I ache for something you bring to me The solid serenity of your attentive touch My hope leaps in my heart as if to catch The splendour of your youthful straightforwardness You carry the light of hidden flowers Into my spleen making me a holistic water-bed For fine and tender emotions to take root Little by little we come together like minerals A lightning bolt making its way past blue flowers I eat the brown sugar from your sultry hands And thank you for sharing the journey with me
My chest is wiser and lighter, having known you.
