With Angel’s Horns

With Angel’s Horns

A Poem by Prophecy

Within excess, and with great meaningfulness

I take you by my side, and simply shiver

Out with the tenderness, let me aggress you

With all the longing, of the parts of me left out in the cold

For so long I strove without any gains

I feel towards pain and run from joy

The bright opposites in me join, when you are near

My lowly wits have no wit left for thee

With an excess of attraction, my brain grows dim

My passion overtakes even the boy in me

A burning that cannot draw anything but death & lust

I take you by my side, if only for a moment

Out with the brutality, let me simple adore you

With all the longing, of a lifetime of so many regrets.
