![]() Humming and the HarpA Poem by Noir Crescent![]() A second song![]()
Stars and stars...
From the sun to the moon, Galaxies lay ahead In our waking moment. Backing up on our lives, We sprang from the ground. Higher and higher, We reached... You play the harp On angels wings As I sat there humming my tones. We used to sing Songs like "Starlights brighter than you and I, As it highlights the best times of our life." Now, we're just sitting by the pond, Throwing pebbles on ripples As we chattered to the sound of the bustling city crowd. Step forward To the light, I wonder why you and I Had records that are collecting dust. We had a circle, A home, A place to come to cry. You brought your friends and I brought mine As we built a rope across the world. I hope you haven't stop playing that harp 'Cause I'm still humming my tones Even when we're separated by walls and walls of paperwork. Party today, party tomorrow, We get wasted and forgot what we did yesterday. As our sorrows are left in the blindside. Do you want to go to the stars? You and I across the world Twinkling and mesmerizing. Play your harp And I'll be humming my tones. Ohohohoh. Ohohohohohoh... © 2016 Noir CrescentAuthor's Note
