Opening Ceromony: Beijing Olympics 2008

One World, One Dream,

It's not only for China and their dream of hosting the olympic games,

No, it's more than that it's the dream everyone shares,

The dream to have the world united together for a special event,

The world putting aside all their diferences to come together as one.

 

The crowd cheers as the country's come forth,

The country that started it all Greece walks through to open the ceromony,

The proud people of Japan follow through the gates in Glory,

Later the Italians march through with deafining, rouring cheers,

Aganist all odds Niger walks through with only one athlete,

 

Following later the United States walks through ready to prove themselves,

Germany comes forth with Dirk bearing their flag, raising it high,

Switzerland comes through with their Tennis Ace Federer leading the way,

While following Spain marches through glouriously ready to see if Nadal can conquer this stage,

And Finnaly the Host country waiting for this a long time,

China, stomps out and recieves the loudest cheers of all,

 

But wait it's not over yet, All the countrys stand together,

As the torch beareres pass the flame to each other,

The final torch bearer is levatated high into the sky,

Where he runs sideways across the unraveling scroll,

 

He then sets the flame upon a rod that ignites,

The flame swirls around in a spiral like motion,

Then in suspense the Goblet booms glouriously with flames,

The Olympic Games Have Begun.
