Fantasies of JesseA Poem by Thru Eyes of GrayWritten in the bowels of the penal system. Hard, cold and cautious. Images in my heart of my life's love that I haven't had contact with for 6 years my only freedom. FYI, two fires painted.
Here where debts are paid in time.
Her beauty comes to me. Images given I keep as mine. The keys that set me free. I see neither night nor day. Behind blind walls of stone. But I can see thru eyes of gray. The beauty that she owns. But it's my heart that knows what I desire. When flesh sees again the sun. Will love paint times two the fire? Or will it paint just one. DKM
