The World Of Life

The World Of Life

A Poem by Priyashrav

As I crawled away,
A hand approached,
And pulled me out,
From the remains,
Of hopes and desires,
A moment in darkness,
And then light usurps,
The world of life,
Welcomes me back,
As abyss bids farewell,
So sure of me,
to come back one day,
The dark and deathly,
Is behind me now,
For now life chose me,
To see another day,
They celebrate my life,
My return exults them,
Yet I know for me,
to die recurrently,
Among the living,
Is more an agony,
Than To live forever,
Among the dead.
