Widen Your Smile

Widen Your Smile

A Poem by Priyanshi

Today you are feeling sad and stressed.
Feels like to apart from this world.
But you have no idea that  behind you,
What's going on?
Your mom awaiting to see that smile again.
Sister is desiring to bring that  smile again to your lips.
Brother recalls past happy memories
and dad finding the reason what did hit you?
And you just lost in your world,
Totally depressed and hurt.
So just
stand up and call up your memories,
remember those people, who wanna
see you smile again,
at least smile for them, please
It's a request...... SMILE AGAIN
and bring COLORS to your life.
Don't think everything has vanished
and destroyed.
Think, an opportunity is waiting for you,
SO, Go and GRAB it and.....
WIDEN YOUR SMILE

We often indulge so much in our despair that we fail to recognize those we are hurting in the process. People should smile as you say, not a fake smile to satisfy others, but a sincere one that gives you more hope. Smiling even in your darkest hours can make the most difference. It's okay to not be okay, but as you say here, it is essential to look beyond the current circumstances and grab the future. Thank you for sharing this hopeful poem!
